Because I excelled in Real Property classes in law school I decided to continue a focus with it in my law practice. In the 1970's attorneys were still preparing and examining abstracts of title. Fortunately that work has been taken over by title insurance companies so attorneys now are able to focus on other real estate matters. I have practiced in most areas of real estate law from document review and preparation to planning and zoning. Most of my real estate practice involves real estate conflicts which oftentimes end up in litigation. Litigated issues have involved construction cases, boundary disputes, real estate purchase and sale disputes, disputes among joint owners as to the use or disposition of properties. For many years I have represented title insurance companies, mortgagors, mortgagees, sellers, buyers, and countless others with real estate disputes.
